After a 1-4 start to the season, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix picked up a much needed road win, 76-67 over Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday night in Hackensack, New Jersey. 

Mike Schachtner and Josh Lawrence each scored 19 points and Ryan Evanochko added 15 points and 9 assists in the win.

Green Bay had struggled out of the gates in the first five games, but the Phoenix got out quickly against the Knights.  Green Bay led 17-6 with Schachtner scoring 9 early points.  Green Bay led 39-32 at the half with Schachtner scoring 17 of his 19 points on 7 of 9 shooting from the field. 

The Phoenix will play an early league game against Horizon League preseason favorite Loyolla of Chicago on Saturday.
