Avery Smith scored 14 points, including the game winning shot in overtime as UW-Milwaukee knocked off Detroit 65-64 in Horizon League action.
Paige Paulsen added 14 points as well for the Panthers, who won for the first time (1-2) in Horizon League play.
Brandon Cotton had 20 points to lead Detroit in defeat.
