If you just can't get enough of the race for the White House, now's your chance to be heard.
It's another kind of political poll. This new effort is your chance to be the pundit. Voters can participate in a multi-state online survey seeking your opinions about your choice for president.
"There are real critical issues that are facing this country, and Wisconsin is going to have a pivotal role in determining what the direction of our country is."
Scot Ross is Executive Director of One Wisconsin Now , an advocacy organization. He says the website — PickYourPresident.org — is a way for Wisconsinites to voice their opinions about who they think is best suited to lead the country in the right direction.
"When our troops are going to come home, when we're going to have an energy independent America, when we're all going to have access to quality health care."
Ross notes, there's no shortage of stories pondering the potential impact of Wisconsin on the presidential race by the time our primary takes place on February 19th — two weeks after Super Tuesday. Some pundits would have you believe the race is over, but with only Iowa and New Hampshire behind us, Ross says it'd be interesting to know what people here in Wisconsin are thinking.
"Well, we just want to see how many people are ready to participate now and what they have to say now about the future of the country."
Five other states are also participating in the online poll, where you can see a running tally of which candidates have strong support among fellow Wisconsinites.
