With the endorsement of the Republican Party in hand, gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker hit the campaign trail again on Monday.
In stops across Wisconsin, the Milwaukee County Executive said he’s ready to take back state government and put it back on the side of the people, in order create more jobs.
Walker says the people of Wisconsin have had enough of business as usual. He believes the public is ready to support his message of cutting taxes and trimming government, much like he has in Milwaukee County. Walker says everything he has done has challenged the status quo, and actions speak louder than words when it comes to proving that.
Walker won the endorsement of delegates at the state GOP convention this weekend with 91-percent of the vote. The other Republican candidate, former Congressman Mark Neumann, had asked that his name not be considered for the endorsement.
