Governor Scott Walker says the need to come together to help victims of Hurricane Sandy trumped the usual partisan politics on the campaign trail this past week. He says putting the focus on the effort to overcome the crisis was the right thing to do.
Walker says it was heartening to see utility companies from Wisconsin send more than 750 technicians and support staff to the East Coast to restore power and communications. He says those companies really stepped up.
