21-year-old rookie reliever Wei-Chung Wang finally made his big-league debut with the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night.

The native of Taiwan pitched a scoreless ninth inning against the Cardinals in the Brewers 4-0 loss.  Wang surrendered a single to Pete Kozma, but that was it.

While he had been throwing bullpen sessions to try to stay sharp, he hadn’t pitched in a real Major League game since March 28th when he worked two scoreless innings against Kansas City in an exhibition at Miller Park.
