UW-Whitewater’s bid to win a second NCAA Division 3 College Baseball title came up short when the Warhawks fell to Chapman 4-2 on Sunday night at Fox Cities Stadium.

The Warhawks managed just 5-hits, got picked off base 3-times and committed 4-errors in the loss.  The Warhawks saw their season end at
37-13.

Whitewater’s only two runs came on Jeff Donovan’s 2-run homer in the 7th.

The Warhawks were making their 5th trip to the College World Series, previously winning the title in 2005.
