An early morning accident involving two motorcycles in Waushara County leaves one person dead and three others injured.
The Waushara County Sheriff says 18-year-old Robert R. Buckholt of Poy Sippi was killed when the Honda dirt bike he was operating southbound on Highway 49 in the Town of Aurora collided with a northbound dirt bike driven by 18-year-old Justin Bredvick of Berlin. The crash occurred shortly before two Thursday morning.
Buckholt was pronounced dead at the scene, while Bredvick was air-lifted to a medical center in Neenah with serious head injuries.
Each bike had a passenger as well, with two women from Oshkosh taken by ambulance to Berlin Hospital. Their conditions were not released.
The crash remains under investigation.
Buckholt is the seventh person to die on Waushara County roadways this year.
