West De Pere put together a dominating performance to shut out Catholic Memorial 35-0, winning the WIAA Division 3 State Championship game at Camp Randall Stadium today.
The Phantoms rolled up 316 total yards, 183 on the ground in winning their first ever State Football Championship.
West De Pere quarterback Jay Tollefson threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two more, avenging a loss in last year’s state title game to Reedsburg. The Phantoms (14-0) also picked up their 7th shutout of the season.
