An Eau Claire area company, that’s a work center for people with disabilities is busy, making daily shipments this week for Steeler fans and possibly Packer fans too. It was a quick turnaround for their workers after Sunday’s AFC Championship which saw Pittsburgh earn a spot to the Superbowl.

“We started at 10′ clock right after the game and have been printing Terrible Towels ever since. It’s a sea of yellow at our organization,” says President and CEO Dave Lemanski.

CRI provides printing service for the towels which are produced elsewhere. Hundreds of thousands of Terrible Towels will be churned out by some 30 people with disabilities and the company will hire about 20 temp workers. Although it’s been a last minute scramble getting staff and logistics together, he says, “It’s a lot of fun.”

Lemanski says his Chippewa Falls business is in talks with McArthur Towels of Baraboo to possibly print Title Towels for the Packers.
