The state’s largest film festival continues in Madison with one movie that’s generating quite a buzz. Wisconsin Film Festival Director Meg Hamel was surprised when the film “Svetlana about Svetlana” made so much news. The documentary highlights Joseph Stalin’s reclusive daughter, who many area people had already known is a badger state resident.

The film will be shown Sunday along with another film highlighting seniors and their life experiences, “A King in Milwaukee.”
The four day festival will wrap up Sunday and features 192 movies, with 50 having some Wisconsin connection. Hamel says ticket prices have not been raised since 2002 and are cheaper than most commercial movie theatres.
