Milwaukee nurse Sue Szomborski says the Obama administration is proposing $13 billion in annual Medicare cuts for home health care. Szomborski says at home treatment saves money in the long run with preventative care that keeps people out of the hospital.

As an R.N. at Horizon Homecare and Hospice says the average home care visit is $150 where as a day in the hospital is $1500.

Szomborski says with 78 million baby boomers entering retirement age its a cause for concern and claims 9 out of 10 seniors prefer in-home treatment.
