The WIAA State Boy’s Hoops tournament wrapped up Saturday at the Kohl Center.
Madison Memorial took home the Division 1 title by knocking off De Pere 80-78 in a triple over-time thriller. It was the first triple over-time game in State Tournament history. It’s the third title in school history for Memorial.
Whitefish Bay won the Division 2 Championship with a 65-49 win over Merrill while Aquinas topped Racine St. Catherine’s 40-34 for the D3 gold ball. Both schools picked up their 3rd State Title.
The Division 4 Championship went to Marathon who defeated 52-43. It was the 4th title for Marathon. Randolph won the first ever Division 5 final over Clayton 49-38. Randolph picked up Gold Ball #9.
