Milwaukee Vincent has appeared in three  WIAA  girls state tournaments counting this years appearance, and each time they captured the state championship.  Vincent had wins over Neenah in the quarterfinals (52-35) and over Middleton (52-40) in the semifinals, before knocking off rival Milwaukee King 48-47 in Saturday night's Division 1 state Championship game.

Grafton earned it's second State Girls Basketball Championship, capturing the Division 2 title on Saturday, 54-52 over Durand.  Grafton also has a state title back in 2007.

Amherst returned to the WIAA State Division 3 championships for fourth straight season and won its second title, getting by Cuba City 41-37.  The Falcons also won a State Championship in 1999 and finished runnerup in 2007.

St. Mary Central made just its second tournament appearance.  The Zephyrs finished runnerup a year ago and Saturday, beat Potosi 45-42 to win the Division 4 championship.  St. Mary Central also won a WISAA title back in 1998.
