The WIAA Softball and Girls Soccer State Tournaments begin today. Soccer opens at Uihlen Soccer Park in Milwaukee whilel Softball takes the field at Goodman Diamond in Madison.
Softball will feature the Division 1 quarterfinals and Division 2 semifinals today. Appleton East and Chippewa Falls open the division 1 quarterfinals at 9 am with Stevens Point and Madison La Follette to follow. The other quarterfinal session has Homestead and Kenosha Bradford meeting at 1:30 pm with Wilmot and Oconomowoc after.
In the Division 2 semifinals, Baldwin-Woodville and Monroe meet at 6pm with Oconto Falls and Union Grove after.
The Division 1 quarterfinals are the only thing on the soccer schedule. Kimberly and River Falls meet at noon. Appleton North takes on Madison Memorial at 2 pm. Whitefish Bay and Grafton meet at 5 pm. Kenosha Tremper and Waukesha West wrap up the day at 7pm.
