Marquette University moved quickly to get coach Buzz Williams a new deal.

Terms of the new contract haven’t been released, but it’s believed the deal will pay Williams more than $2-million a year.

Williams, who led Marquette into the Sweet 16 this year, has posted a 69-37 record during his time in Milwaukee.

The deal takes Williams out of the running for coaching vacancies at Arkansas and Oklahoma, where he was believed to be a front-runner for both openings.
