Tramon Williams is off to a good start as a starting cornerback with the

Tramon Williams

Green Bay Packers

Williams went undrafted in 2006 and signed with the Packers out of Louisiana Tech.  He’s spent the last two seasons as the Packers nickel defensive back and took over the starters job when Al Harris wasn’t ready to return from knee surgery to start the season.

Harris was placed on the physically unable to perform list to start the season, which means Williams will be the teams starter for at least the next three games.

The question is, will Harris reclaim his starters job when he’s ready to return, or does that job now belong to Williams?  Williams says it’s not important to him and he’s ready to do whatever the coaches ask of him.
