Several homes were destroyed, a business was leveled, and numerous other buildings were damaged as a tornado swept through Kenosha County Monday. No one was killed and all reported injuries were minor.

At a news briefing, Kensoha Mayor John Antaramian said it's believed that everyone has been accounted for after a door to door search. County executive Allan Kelh said most residents appear to have recieved adequate warning of the twister. Kehl noted that one of injuries was a person who passed out after seeing the tornado. Kenosha Fire Department battalion chief Pat Ryan said about 80 students and staff members were held at Bose school in Kenosha because of damage in the area, including downed power lines.
