Wisconsin airports are getting federal funding. U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s office announced around 80 airports will share in $38 million as part of a nationwide transportation upgrade under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport will receive the highest funding at $8.57 million. Dane County Regional in Madison will receive $4.89 million, Appleton International Airport $3.27 million and Green Bay International Airport $2.79 million. Baldwin, who’s running for reelection in 2024, said the funding will help airports increase efficiency and improve safety.
