The owners of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry in Manitowoc have announced plans for a major expansion.
WAF Chief Financial Officer Kory Brockman says the company is launching a $7.5 million project, which includes a 35,000 square foot expansion and the creation of two new production lines. Brockman says that should create about 43 new full time jobs.

Governor Scott Walker visited the facility Friday to announce the state will offer a $210,000 economic tax credit to help cover some of the cost of the expansion. Walker says it may only be a small portion of the overall project, but it shows a commitment to helping the state and business move forward.
The building expansion and first production line will be completed early next year. The second line is expected in late 2012.
