Both chambers of the Wisconsin legislature have scheduled floor sessions on Tuesday, as Republican leadership in the Assembly and Senate push through their agenda. The Assembly has set a grueling schedule for its members, taking to the floor from 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The chamber is scheduled to return at 8 a.m. Wednesday, working until noon.

Legislators will also hear the annual State of the Tribes Address, beginning at 1:00 on Tuesday. Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Chairman Mic Isham will deliver this year’s address.

The Assembly agenda includes online voter registration legislation, which has already passed the state Senate, a “sanctuary cities” bill, and a measure the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association adhere to the state’s public records and open meetings laws.

The Senate agenda includes a bill to overhaul state water regulations and a measure which would prohibit legislators from serving concurrently as county executives.
