New Berlin common council takes no decision on removal of mayor (NEW BERLIN)

No decision from New Berlin’s common council on a petition to remove the city’s mayor from office. Tuesday night’s hour-long meeting with an attorney in closed session comes weeks after Mayor Dave Ament apologized for posts on social media disparaging Muslims. The petition calling for Ament’s removal centers around those posts as well as allegations that the approval of a Milwaukee Rescue Mission facility violated open meetings laws. No action was taken by the common council.

Milwaukee Brewers get ready for postseason with new food items at AmFam Field (MILWAUKEE)

The Brewers gear up for the post season with new food items. If the combinations sound a little strange, that’s because the team and its restaurants are engaging in a little Wisconsin fusion. Items like a Birria Bahn Mi hot dog, a double burger topped with pot roast and peppers, Oktoberfest pizza and Brat Rangoon’s. The Brewers will enjoy home field advantage through the post season as they scored over 100 wins for the first time in team history.
