“Fabulously ignorant, bigoted and un-American.” That response from the Islamic Society of Milwaukee to comments made by a Wisconsin congressman.

In a brief interview posted Monday to the social media platform X, (formerly known as Twitter), 6th District Republican Glenn Grothman said he may introduce a bill or amendment to prohibit all Palestinians from entering the U.S., not just members of the Hamas terrorist organization.

“I think one of the things we have to look at with regard to Israel is you want to make sure that these Palestinians who are kind of a problem been raised to not like Jews from five or six years old on, we want to make sure that they don’t wind up in our country,” Grothman said. “I mean, when you look at them, when I talk to people around here. Why would you want these people added to America, particularly when we’re getting 200,000 people across the southern border every month already?”

Another Wisconsin congressman,  7th  District Republican Tom Tiffany has introduced a bill that would prevent some Palestinians from entering the United States.

Tiffany introduced the ‘Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission’, or GAZA Act this week. In a press release, Tiffany said the ‘Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission’, or GAZA Act would prevent the Biden administration from issuing new visas or paroling holders of Palestinian Authority passports into the United States.
