Just a few weeks after a narrow primary win, state Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley and Appeals Court Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg remain locked in a tight race for a seat in Wisconsin’s highest court.

The latest Marquette University Law School poll shows Bradley and Kloppenburg tied at 30 percent among registered voters in the state, with 31 percent of voters still undecided about who they support. Poll director Charles Franklin noted that part of the issue is that Supreme Court races tend to be less visible to voters and, as a result, “suffer from the fact that voters are less aware of the candidates.”

Public awareness of the race is likely to increase somewhat in the coming weeks, as both candidates and outside groups ramp up advertising closer to the April 5 general election.
