Wisconsin's economy continues to lag.  That's according to the latest report from the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance, which says Wisconsin is trailing the nation when it comes to personal income.

Alliance President Todd Berry says the average income here is about $42,000 a year. Nationally, that figure is at $49,000.

Berry says it's nothing new in Wisconsin, with the state consistently below the national average. The latest figures have us at 6.2-percent below, the largest gap in nearly two decades.
