Wisconsin women’s rowing ended the season with a 16th place finish at the three-day 2014 NCAA Rowing Championships that finished on Sunday at Eagle Creek Park.  UW earned 45 points to claim its second-straight 16th place finish.

It was the Badgers seventh straight trip to the NCAA Championships and 11th all-time.

Wisconsin’s varsity four placed 10th by finishing fourth in the petite final.  California captured the varsity four NCAA title.

UW’s varsity eight placed 17th with a fourth-place result in the third-level final.  The second varsity eight placed 16th overall after taking third in the third-level final.  Ohio State won the first and second varsity eight races.   The Buckeyes won their second straight NCAA team title.
