It sounds like a broken record, but the Milwaukee Brewers are once again not getting what they bargained for when they signed free agent left-hander Randy Wolf to a 3-year deal worth $29.75 million.

Wolf gave up 5-home runs to the Chicago Cubs last night and the Brewers lost 9-4 at Miller Park.  Marlon Byrd and Geovany Soto each homered twice and Derrek Lee clubbed his 300th career home run in the win.

Wolf has now surrendered 15 home runs in 13 starts this season.  Wolf fell to
4-6 with a 5.31 ERA and he hasn’t given his team a chance to win.
