The Marquette Golden Eagles returned home and knocked off Xavier 74-69, winning their seventh straight game at the Al McGuire Center.
Freshmen Allazia Blockton and Natisha Hiedeman scored 18 points each and junior forward McKayla Yentz recorded her first double-double with 10 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles (13-13, 8-7 Big East) improved to 9-3 at home.
Badgers fall
The Wisconsin Badgers took a six-point lead into the halftime break, but the Indiana Hoosiers outscored UW 17-8 in the third quarter to pull out a 67-57 win in Bloomington, Indiana.
Michala Johnson and Dakota Whyte each scored 16 points to lead the Badgers (7-17, 3-11 Big Ten).
