The Green Bay Phoenix (21) knocked off defending WNIT champion Toledo 72-65, ending the Rockets 22-game home court winning streak in the process.
Lydia Bauer sank five three pointers and led all scorers with 23 points for Green Bay. Julie Wojta added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the win, sending the Phoenix to their 8th straight win (8-0) to start the season.
Kansas 73, Wisconsin 44
Poor shooting did Wisconsin in as the Badgers fell to the Jayhawks 73-44 in non-conference basketball action Thursday night.
The Badgers shot a season-low 44 points on a season-low 15 field goals made and shot a season-low 28.3 percent (15 of 53) from the field. Over half of the Badgers (4-6) field goals came from beyond the arc, as the Badgers were 8 of 19 (42.1%) from 3-point range.
The Badgers turned the ball over 16 times. Kansas improved to 8-1.
