More numbers on the extension that Green Bay Packers defensive back Charles Woodson received on Thursday.

Woodson’s 2-year extension carries him through the 2014 season.  It’s two years added on to the three that he had remaining on his current deal.

The deal will pay Woodson around $33-million over the next three seasons and as much as $55-million over the next five.  It’s a raise of about $4-million each year.

The 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year picked off 9-passes last season, tying him for the NFL lead.
