The Green Bay Packers cut four players on Monday and put second year defensive tackle Justin Harrell on the reserve/physically unable to perform list.  Headlining the list of released players is running back DeShawn Wynn, the teams 7th round pick a year ago.

The injury-plagued Wynn missed a combination of nine practices and two preseason games because of a concussion and ankle problems this summer.

Last year, Wynn started four of the Packers first seven games and led the team with 50 carries for 203 yards and four touchdowns before a shoulder injury landed him on injured reserve.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said it's a case of Wynn not being available to compete and other players taking advantage of their opportunities.

Other players released were wide receiver Chris Francies, fullback Ryan Powdrell and offensive lineman Ryan Considine.
