MotionW_2ColorThe Wisconsin Badger women’s basketball team blew a 17-2 first half lead and fell to Vanderbilt 67-58 in women’s college action Thursday night at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers (1-1) increased their lead to 17 points with 11:45 left in the half, but Vanderbilt had closed the gap to seven points (41-34) by halftime.

The Commodores (3-0) rallied in the second half, taking the lead for good with 11:15 left in the game.

Michala Johnson scored 17 points to lead Wisconsin.  Jacki Gulczynski and Cayla McMorris added 11 points each.

Rebekah Dahlman led Vanderbilt with 18 points.
