Badgers Celebrate WCHA title

victory over Colorado College in the 2013 WCHA Final Five championship game at Xcel Energy Center.  The victory gave Wisconsin its 12th WCHA playoff title and its first since 1998.

The Four regional sites for the 2013 NCAA men’s ice hockey tournament include the West Regional in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the Northeast Regional in Manchester, N.H., on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30; and the East Regional in Providence, R.I., and the Midwest Regional in Toledo, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, March 30-31.

The 2013 NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Frozen Four takes place on April 11 and 13 in Pittsburgh.

The Badgers started 1-7-2 and at that time, playing in the NCAA tournament didn’t even seem remotely possible.  But Mike Eaves Badgers are living proof that sometimes, hard work and perseverance does pay off.
