Here's a promotion with legs — swallow a big and jump the line at Six Flags America.

But not just any bug — the Chicago area amusement park will let you to the front of the line if you swallow a Madagascar hissing cockroach. But before you chow down, know that Professor Phil Pellitteri of the UW Department of Entomology says there are a couple of concerns; people with allergies to shellfish can also be allrergic to insects. Pellitteri also says repeated roach swallowing could in time lead to developing an allergy to the bugs — but once will presumably be enough for most people.

The Great America “Fright Night” promotion runs from October 7th through 29th. The cockroaches, incidentally, are two to three inches long. Yum.
