I'm not a diehard hunter. I tried my luck a few times while in high school but never really got into it. My two brothers hunt instead and some venison sausage or hot sticks seem to find their way into my freezer.
But not being a hunter doesn't mean I'm not curious. I've often heard stories about a 30-point buck. In fact, I think there's a song that tells the story.
People talk about the 30-point buck, they sing about it and several hunters come home from their trip to the woods telling stories about the 30-pointer that got away.
I wondered if I would ever see a 30-pointer in my life time.
Well, as it turns out, I did see a 30-pointer and I didn't even have to go into the deepest, darkest wooded plot of land. I simply had to go to Lambeau Field during a Packers ' game. Afterall, you see all kinds of unbelievable things outside of Lambeau Field. Never imagined I'd see a 30-pointer, but I guess if you wait long enough, you'll see just about anything.
You've probably caught a shot or two of the yellow bikini girls in the cold at Lambeau Field, but have you ever seen a 30-point buck?
