Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings returned to the practice field

Greg Jennings

on Sunday after missing more than two weeks  with a concussion.  As it turns out, Jennings situation was more serious than originally thought.

Jennings was diagnosed with a concussion during the family night scrimmage, but Jennings said the problems actually started sooner than that.

In addition to the headaches, Jennings said he also felt pressure in his head.  He said he was banned from the weight room and wasn’t allowed to do much physical activity until the trainers were convinced he was ready.

Jennings said he felt great and feels he’ll be ready to return to game action on Thursday at Cincinnati.  For now, Jennings said he needs to get back into shape.

Jermichael Finley, John Kuhn and DB Sam Shields all returned to practice on Sunday and should play on Thursday night.
