The Green Bay Packers say they aren’t concerned about adjusting to the high-altitude in the Mile High City this weekend, but coach Mike McCarthy is still leaving for Denver a day early (Friday).
Some of the players, like linebacker Clay Matthews, aren’t sure what to expect.
McCarthy wasn’t trying to make too big of a deal. he said the biggest concern was quick energy depletion, but that preparations during the week would take care of that.
McCarthy said, “We’re going to need a lot of carbs and drink more water.”
