The UW-Green Bay Phoenix get a bye all the way to Saturday’s semifinals of the Horizon League men’s basketball tournament, but there’s three opening round games on tap tonight.
The UW-Milwaukee Panthers host Detroit at the U.S. Cellular Arena. It hasn’t necessarily been home-sweet-home for the Panthers, who are 3-6 on the home court in league play this season.
If the Panthers (17-13, 7-0) win tonight, they’ll face the winner of tonight’s game between Valparaiso or Illinois-Chicago in the second round at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Friday night.
