3rd-ranked St. Norbert College advanced to the championship game of the Midwest Conference Tournament for the sixth straight year with an 85-74 win over Ripon College in a league semifinal at Schuldes Sports Center.
The Green Knights (23-1) advanced to play Grinnell College in the tournament championship game (6pm) tonight.
Steven Hofacker led the Green Knights with 24 points, while Andrew Schwoerer added 22. Kyle Loughrin led the Red Hawks with 29 points in the loss.
St. Norbert women
St. Norbert College knocked off Illinois College 61-51 in the MWC semifinals on Friday. The Green Knights (21-3) will face Cornell College at 3 p.m. Saturday at Schuldes Sports Center in the tournament championship.
WIAC Championship
The WIAC Championship will be decided today when Whitewater plays host to upset minded Oshkosh. The Titans upset 2nd seeded Stevens Point in the semifinals on Thursday to advance.
