Junior Mohammed Ahmed placed 5th overall, leading the top-ranked Wisconsin men’s cross country team to their 5th NCAA Championship and first since 2005.

Senior Elliot Krause (17th place), Ryan Collins (23rd) and junior Reed Connor (36th) joined Ahmed as All-Americans.

The Badgers held off two-time defending champion Oklahoma State, which placed second.  Colorado, BYU and Stanford round out the top 5.
