The State Supreme Court says it will wait until after the election, before ruling on an appeal from Mark Green's campaign for governor. The Republican candidate is challenging an order from the State Elections Board, requiring him to give up $468,000 in donations. The Board ordered Green to divest the money because it violated state restrictions on transferring money from a federal campaign fund to a state race.

Green campaign spokesman Mike Prentiss says the decision will not put a crimp in spending plans. He says current plans didn't anticipate using those funds.

The court's decision came on a 4-3 vote from justices.
