NTSB: Tiffany plane crash due to pilot error (UNDATED)

The NTSB report found that loss of power was “due to (Boltz’s) delay in switching fuel tanks and not turning on the electric fuel boost pump,” after a full day of flying. The two men swam to shore after Bolz made an emergency water landing in Lake Wausau that evening, both suffering minor injuries.
