Four boaters rescued from Lake Michigan over weekend (PORT WASHINGTON)
Four people were pulled from Lake Michigan over the weekend when their boat capsized. It happened early Sunday morning at the Port Washington marina. The people aboard the fishing boat were wearing their life vests and were able to call for help. A nearby charter boat was the first to arrive and got everyone safely out of the water with no serious injuries. The US Coast Guard reminds everyone to wear life vests when on the water.
Sec Hegseth visits Oshkosh Corporation on tour to promote military readiness (OSHKOSH)
Pete Hegseth is in Oshkosh today (Monday). The Secretary of Defense is speaking to workers at Oshkosh Corporation, one of several stops on a tour of the Midwest. The US Department of Defense says the “Arsenal of Freedom” tour is meant to encourage an “agile and accountable” defense infrastructure. Hegseth is also making a stop at US Strategic Command in Nebraska.
