Two men were killed, in separate motorcycle accidents in Jefferson County over the weekend. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports that 23-year-old Jordan Vogel of Jefferson was killed when his motorcycle crossed the center line and crashed into a pickup truck at about 12:30 Saturday afternoon on County Highway O in the Town of Lake Mills. Two other motorcycles crashed to avoid the first accident. The riders were both hurt, one taken to the hospital. The pickup driver was also injured. WKOW reports that Vogel was a firefighter with the  Jefferson Fire Department for four years.
Also on Saturday, 35-year-old Elias Stollenwerk of Jefferson was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a car. That crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. on County Highway Y in the Town of Jefferson.
