Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is traveling overseas this week, where he’s meeting members of the National Guard who are stationed in the Middle East.
Walker’s office says he’s part of a delegation of governors visiting with guardsmen, as part of a trip organized by the U.S. Department of Defense. The trip began on Monday runs through December 9.
Specific locations being visited on the trip have not been released. Walker posted a photo on his Twitter account Tuesday morning of him meeting with members of the Wisconsin National Guard.
It’s such a great honor to speak with WI National Guard troops. Thank you for your service! ???????? – Scott pic.twitter.com/UhNpikjbJN
