Bucks exercise option on Bogut's contract

June 30, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Bucks have exercised the third-year option on Andrew Bogut's rookie scale contract. It means the Bucks have Bogut signed through the 2007-2008 season. Bogut averaged nearly 9-points and seven rebounds for the Bucks during his rookie season after being taken with the top pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. — The Bucks are getting visits from their newest members this afternoon. Second round pick David Noel out of North Carolina and Damir Markota from Croatia, whom the Bucks acquired in a trade with San Antonio, will both be introduced to the media this afternoon.
