Brewers Win Again

July 5, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Doug Davis pitched the Brewers to a 5-2 win over the Reds on the 4th of July at Miller Park. Davis gave up just two runs in 8 and two-thirds innings of work to notch the win. Brian Shouse got the final out for the save. Milwaukee hitters got to Reds starter Bronson Arroyo for all five runs in the 4th inning. Corey Koskie's two-run homer was the big blow in the frame. Milwaukee can get back to the .500 mark if they can complete the three game sweep of the Reds tonight at Miller Park. Carlos Villanueva will take the mound for the Crew. Elizardo Ramirez gets the nod for the Reds.
