Oak Creek gives up state track title

July 12, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Oak Creek High School is giving up its boys division 1 track & field championship. Two athletes from that team were ruled ineligible because of discrepancies in transfer documents. The two helped score 40 of Oak Creek's 48 points in the WIAA State Meet last month. Junior Victor Reynolds and sophomore Robert Lee had transferred from Bradley Tech at the start of the second semester. Oak Creek officials contacted the WIAA about three weeks ago to voluntarily disclose possible transfer problems.
