Green returns to practice with the Packers

August 8, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green returned to practice on Monday for the first time since rupturing the quadriceps tendon in his right thigh against the Vikings last October. Green will continue with his personal rehabilitative work over the next couple of weeks, but will gradually do less rehab and more actual football practice. Green said they're shooting for him to play in the teams third preseason game at Cincinnati on August 28th.
