Green targets 3rd preseason game for return

August 15, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green ran hard and was impressive in Monday afternoon's 2 1/2 hour practice and will go through his first full contact practice tonight. If all goes well over the next week and a half, Green will make his season debut in the Monday night exhibition game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Aug. 28. Green has been recovering form a ruptured right thigh tendon, undergoing both rehab and working out individual drills for the last week.
